Congratulations Kristin Fitzgerald!!

Congratulations to Overton's Teacher of the Year, Kristin Fitzgerald!!!!

Ms. Fitzgerald brings history to life in ways that challenge students to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, and see their connection to the world around them. She brought the Facing History Holocaust course to Overton, creating another powerful opportunity for our students to learn, reflect, and grow.

Her impact reaches beyond the classroom. As a Cross Country coach, she celebrates each runner’s progress and helps students believe in what they can accomplish. Whether she is teaching a lesson or cheering on the team, she shows our Bobcats what it means to keep learning and keep pushing forward.

Ms. Fitzgerald is a consistent Level 5 educator, and we are proud of the way she represents Overton. Thank you for the passion, excellence, and care you bring to our school. Your work makes a lasting difference for our Bobcats! Congratulations, you have earned this celebration!
